Senior iOS Developer

Location: Bay Area, CA

Duration: 6+ Months OR Contract-to-Hire

 

NOTE: Local Consultant Required // Interview Process: Telephonic followed by In-Person

1. COMPLETE SKILL MATRIX (YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN EACH SKILL):

 

1.       Software development: years

2.       iOS application development: years

3.       At least two different published apps on AppStore: years

4.       Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, SDK, and XCode: years

5.       SQLite and Core Data: years

6.       Multithreading, Auto release Pool and ARC: years

7.       Interface with cloud back-end with REST APIs and JSON: years

8.       B.S. in computer science OR M.S. in computer science:

9.       Knowledge of software design patterns.

10.   Agile software development cycle: years

11.   Cross-platform design – share the common code between iOS and Android: years

12.   Multimedia programming: years

13.   PhoneGap, Sancha, HTML5: years

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

1.       7+ years of software development experience.

2.       3+ years iOS application development.

3.       At least two different published apps on AppStore.

4.       Fluency in Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, SDK, and XCode.

5.       Strong in SQLite and Core Data.

6.       Solid knowledge of multithreading, Auto release Pool and ARC.

7.       Excellent debugging skills.

8.       Interface with cloud back-end with REST APIs and JSON.

9.       Strong oral and written communication skills.

10.   Being a team player who is self-motivated and well organized.

11.   B.S. in computer science or equivalent.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

1.       Knowledge of software design patterns.

2.       Experience of Agile software development cycle.

3.       Solid understanding quality is in developer's hands not QA's.

4.       Cross-platform design – share the common code between iOS and Android.

5.       Multimedia programming.

6.       PhoneGap, Sancha, HTML5.

7.       M.S. in computer science or equivalent.
