Description of Duties:

Design, code, test, debug and document new JAVA based business application solutions and/or make enhancements to existing application software (JAVA, Web Services, or in Business Process Management (BPM 7.x)  - 30% of Total Work Effort

Will assist, train, monitor and possibly direct the work of less experienced application development staff; and assist with development tasks for difficult and highly complex JAVA based programs  - 30% of Total Work Effort

Supports and promotes the current ISETS Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and works to continually use and improve the ISETS/INVEST Governance process  - 20% of Total Work Effort

Confers with DCS management to assist in planning, organizing and controlling activities for highly specialized technical areas  - 20% of Total Work Effort

 

Operating Systems:

z/OS - Advanced Skill Level - 7 Years of Experience - Highly Desired

Windows Server - Advanced Skill Level - 5 Years of Experience - Required

 

Programming Language/Development Tools:

JAVA - Advanced Skill Level - 5 Years of Experience - Required

XML - Advanced Skill Level - 5 Years of Experience - Required

 

Hardware - IBM i5 - Advanced Skill Level - 5 Years of Experience - Highly Desired

 

Database Systems/Database Tools:

DB2 - Advanced Skill Level - 5 Years of Experience - Required

SQL Server - Advanced Skill Level - 5 Years of Experience - Required

 

Frameworks/SLDs/Methodologies:

JAVA - Advanced Skill Level - 5 Years of Experience - Required
