Job Description

• 4-6 years of experience
• Digital: Cassandra, Digital: Kafka, Core Java, GUI & Rich Clients

Essential Skills

• We are looking for a strong candidate with 7 - 8 years of experience in developing, deploying and administering Applications based on Kafka and Cassandra.
• 7 - 8 years of experience in Java/Java EE
• 3 - 4 years of development and administration experience in Kafka is a MUST. Experience on other related techs like Zookeeper, Storm will be a plus.
• 3 - 4 years of Experience in developing real-time Big Data solutions using DataStax Cassandra administration.
• 3 - 4 years of Experience in supporting real-time Big Data solutions using DataStax Cassandra in Production environment.
• 4 - 5 years of in depth knowledge of Unix environment that includes shell scripting
• Experience in building, deploying and managing services and applications in Cloud platform is a plus.
• Experience in build systems such as Maven and Ant and Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins and GoCD
• Experience in software debugging and performance tuning
• Candidate must have experience in developing performance intensive, high availability application
• Strong skills in solving complex problems
• Works well in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strict adherence to development standards"
