Job Title: Senior BA (Publishing domain knowledge)

Location: Columbus, OH

Position : Long Term                                                    

 

Requirement:  

Responsibilities              

• A senior BA who has extensive experience in supporting an Agile software development team

•  Experience in building a multitenant, large-scale web application (SaaS) with responsive designs

•  Experience in working with offshore development team

• Solicits client requirements through interviews, workshops and/or existing systems documentation or procedures

•  Extensive experience in writing epics, and user stories, defining specific, concise acceptance criteria, and grooming stories into multiple smaller stories based upon logical separation points

• Proactively validates conflicting or unclear inputs from business teams and technical teams

• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment – self-starter, wearing a few hats, high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity

•  Expert in Agile development tools – Jira, Confluence

• Excellent communication skills

 

Mandatory Technical Skills        

·         Designing through UML

·         Communication skill

·         Publishing Domain Knowledge

 

Desirable Technical Skills              

·         Experience in Intellectual Property Management and Contracts Management systems (HIGHLY DESIRABLE)

·         Some level of development experience in the past

·         BA experience for a Java software development project

·         Experience in education/publishing industry

·         Mandatory Functional Skills                

·         Publishing domain knowledge

·         Desirable Functional Skills   

·         Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
