Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Openings: 4

Duration: 6-12 months (but will likely be on through the two-year program if they do well)

Location: Etna, OH

 Interview Process:

1.     Phone interview with QA manager/director

2.     On site with QA team

 Qualifications:

·        QA Management background – QA Lead experience might make the cut, depending on what environment they worked in

·        Experience with HP testing suite (ALM, Quality Center, UFT)

·        Experience with MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, JIRA

·        Project leadership experience in a multi-channel, matrix environment (basically managing multiple, cross-functional teams at once)

·        Experience putting together detailed testing efforts for enterprise IT projects

 Background:

·        Identified need for QA Leads/Managers to run with QA programs under 4 of the 6 programs (projects fall under Merchandise Planning & Allocation, Real Estate, Procurement, HR, etc.)

·        They do not have internal resources currently in these roles

·        Looking for someone with QA management background, will be directing on and offshore QA groups

·        Role is 70% functional, 30% technical

 

Responsibilities:

·        Directing testing under each program, identifying high-impact defects and coordinating with dev/QA groups to resolve high-priority issues

·        Coordinating/leading meetings with QA and dev groups to establish & prioritize workflow

·        Manage on and offshore teams of QA

·        Providing status reports on testing efforts to IT leadership

·        Leading use of HP testing suite (ALM, QC) for defect tracking, requirement management, etc.

Note: We are working with Tier-1 vendor requirement.
