Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 6+ Months
Required:
•BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
•Puppet Enterprise background (puppet + hiera coding skills). Experience with configuration management tools.
•Shell programming (bash)
•Linux systems knowledge, preferably RPM based distros
•Experience with managing cloud delivery platforms, AWS in particular.
•Deep understanding of cloud technologies such as virtualization, storage and network domains in a cloud service model
•Hands on experience with one or more programming languages
•Hands on experience with build tools and the Git version control system
•Hands on experience with Docker
•Experience of working in Agile/SCRUM teams
•Knowledge of relational and no sql databases
Desirable skills (in order of priority)
•Python skills (with unit testing)
•Nginx knowledge
•Network knowledge, debugging and tuning kernel behavior with command line tools
•Ability to write / modify build plans (Bamboo, learnable).
