Techno-functional role for an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) installation. Will work with customers and external partners to define requirements and implement solutions. Includes ongoing enhancement requests, defect corrections, and new development as needed. Provides knowledge transfer to VEC IT and business staff.
The primary purpose of this position will be to create and implement custom interfaces between our Agency's financial system (Oracle EBS) and the Commonwealth's new Payroll system.
Significant experience in: Oracle EBS R12, developing EBS customizations , extensions, modifications, localization, and integrations using PL/SQL, Forms customization, Reports, APEX, Oracle Workflow, BI Publisher and the overall Oracle Applications Framework. Due to level of coding involved and the Agency's customized processes very strong PL/SQL skills are a must. Experience and knowledge of XML Publisher. Ability to write ad-hoc SQL queries and code shell scripts as needed. Java coding skills a plus but not required. Assist in Sysadmin support for operations supporting R12.1.3 environment. Experience with Oracle ERP R12.1.3, including 11.2.0.4 Database versions. ERP R12.2 experience a plus but not required. In addition to EBS Financial experience, knowledge of HR and Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) strongly desired.
