My client has an immediate need for Palo Alto – Firewall Resource

Job Title     :           Palo Alto – Firewall Resource

Location     :          Oklahoma City, OK

Duration    :          6 + Months 

Rate             :          $50/Hr

Green Card or US Citizens Preferred ........

 

Responsibilities:

Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot the firewall solution

Provide guidance on code and content upgrades.

Build custom security policies and application signatures.

Build connections with remote locations including remote offices and suppliers.

Interact with the network team and suppliers to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.

Provide fault isolation and root cause analysis for technical issues.

Analyze logs and events from the solution and provide threat analysis reports.

Mitigate web-based threats in a timely manner.

 

Qualifications:

Detailed technical experience in the installation, configuration and operation of high-end firewall appliances, ideally Palo Alto Networks products.

Strong understanding of core Internet protocols and applications.

Strong TCP/IP networking skills.

Strong understanding of OSPF.

Strong experience in Routing & Switching (OSPF / BGP / VLAN / STP).

Strong experience with Security (IPSEC / SSL-VPN / NAT / GRE).

Strong ability to independently debug broad, complex, and unique networks with mixed media and protocols required.

Extensive background in internetworking, LAN, and WAN technologies required.

Extensive knowledge of different security threats.
