Job Title:

Application Development The candidate will work, as part of a team, modifying and developing mainframe programs and batch jobs for an in-house built IMS DB/DC DB2 system.

The successful candidate will support the Telephone Equipment Management System (TEMS).

TEMS is a mainframe IMS DB/DC and DB2 system responsible for maintaining an up-to-date inventory of installed voice and data communications inventory while providing reports and other controls necessary to properly manage the communications environment.

The system calculates costs of telecommunications services and distributes it to company organizations (chargeback), records vendor invoices for verification, approval and payment by Accounts Payable, and provides current and historical budget telecommunications data.

This position involves performing detailed and complex systems analysis and design tasks for enhancements, bug fixes and adhoc requests (some of which are manually completed outside of the application).

The successful candidate will be required to analyze the existing application and recommend improvements. In addition, he/she will troubleshoot production problems and determine the correct course of action to take.

. The successful candidate will also work with users to prepare requirements analysis for major enhancements, perform development and implementation based on Client's System Development Life Cycle, document existing technical functionality and assist in the annual budget process.

The following are the requirements for a programmer analyst.

Additionally, please include a summary of the years of experience for each of the requirements for your candidate. - Minimum of 7 years of work experience as programmer/analyst.

- Primary and current experience must be with COBOL (COBOL/II and Enterprise COBOL) with a minimum of 5 years' experience - Primary and current database experience required is IMS DB and DB2 with a minimum of 5 years in each - Current IMS DC application experience is a must with a minimum of 5 years - 3 – 5 years' experience is a must including a current working knowledge in the following technologies: MFS, DB2, ZOS/MVS, TSO, Librarian, JCL, VSAM, QMF and BTS.

- Requires strong familiarity with the Windows7 and 10 operating systems, client server concepts, file transfer capability and LAN environments. - Must be well organized, able to work with minimal supervision, detail oriented and have the ability to address multiple assignments concurrently.

- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and to effectively interact with customers, support staff, and various levels of management. The position is available immediately and the candidate must be available to start as soon as possible.

The following are not required for this position but would be considered as a valuable asset in a potential candidate.

The following additional skills are preferable. - Microsoft Project and Office experience is a plus - Experience with ASP.NET, VB.NET, Visual Studio .NET, JavaScript, Knowledge of Classic ASP is also a plus - Experience with JQuery, Ajax and MVC 4.0 is a bonus - Experience with Crystal Reports (version 10) and/or Telerik / SSRS Reports will be helpful - SQL Server skills (MS SQL & SSIS) is a plus
