Job Title:                        .Net Lead Lead with NoSQL with Selenium and Mongo

Location:                        Crofton, MD

Duration:                        12+ Months/Contract

Personal Attributes:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years IT Experience, including strong development and some testing.
• Interest in working in an Open Source and Big Data environment.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a self starter requiring little supervision.
• Ability to work effectively with internal and external groups and vendors required.
• Exceptional communicator in written, graphical and oral forms, with a collaborative and flexible style.
• Ability to learn new technologies and testing protocols quickly.
• Detailed and action oriented, Self-starter; ability to complete project with minimal guidance.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Experience:

• Experience in developing high volume distributed systems, process distribution, service distribution, versioning and HA with BCP and DR.
• Expertise in Application Lifecycle Management (Version Control, build, configuration, Continuous Integration, code verification and release management) involving distributed development teams.
• Experience with Microsoft.Net, C#, C++, XML, UML, SQL, SQL Server, T-SQL, JDBC, ODBC and ADO.NET
• In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, networking, applications, cloud computing and systems engineering.
• QA / Testing experience, ideally including open source Test Tools like Selenium.
• Experience developing and implementing applications for a Cloud infrastructure environment.
• Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL Databases.
• Keen ability to set direction, monitor progress, and take corrective action as needed to keep all deliverables on track.
• Ability to develop meaningful metrics that tell the technology story and benefits to the business.
• Strong analytical skills with exposure to system analysis and design.
• Ability to lead software development and design efforts across a vast array of technologies including client/server, cloud and big data applications.
• Experience with automated testing, performance engineering and/or sophisticated test engineering.
• Ability to create presentations (using PowerPoint and other tools) of high quality, using information assimilated from multiple sources, distilled to clear, impactful slides.
• Ability to perform independent system analysis, establish product specifications and plan implementation activities across multiple operational districts

 

Very Beneficial:

• Experience with XML, HTML, SoapUI, HPQC, HPPC, Selenium, JMeter, SQL Server
• Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL Databases.
• Experience with Java, Java Script, and/or.Net framework, SQL Server, Open Source development and test tools.
• Experience with Software Test Automation, including API or Web Services testing,
• Experience in IT management and the coordination of multiple vendors' activities
