Our well-established, fast growing client is seeking a Software Engineer to work on developing highly available and distributed server applications for all markets served. You will be part of the team that researches, designs, develops and operates the core data systems of the company.
You will work closely with product management and customers to understand and refine market requirements. You will also work closely with the other members of the team to support the operation of the central servers. This role is hands-on, and you'll be implementing alongside other developers while championing a clean, pragmatic design for the entire system.
· Design and implement highly available systems for ingesting and distributing weather and aviation data
· Prepare, collaborate on, and review Software Engineering designs and implementations in Scala and Java using functional and OO programming
· Contribute to and review product requirements and QA test plans
· Help customer support in identifying and resolving operational issues
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· At least 5 years of related experience in full cycle software development with demonstrated achievements and progressive responsibilities
· Experience with software development in Java, including build automation tools such as Maven
· Experience with non-relational (NoSQL) databases
· Experience with in-memory data stores and caches
· Experience with large scale data/distributed systems
· Experience with multithreading and concurrency
· Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, agile development, build processes, testing, and operations

I am in need of a Data Modeler for my client based in Danville, PA. The ideal candidate should look like a Business Systems Analyst with very strong Data but as a Data Modeler. I need multiple years of Healthcare for this role and strong communication. I don't have much more of a job description than this. Please let me know who you have.
1. Strong healthcare payer experience (5+ years of consistent and current health care insurance experience)
2. Strong knowledge of logical and physical data modeling – Will have Erwin experience and strong SQL skills
3. Strong understanding of source to target mapping, data mappings, data flow diagrams etc.
4. Strong track record working with stake holders, business users to understand their data consumption requirements, and applying business rules, business logic to their requirements
5. Strong Business and Data Analysis skills
