Role                       : Sr. JAVA Developer

Location               : Norfolk, VA

Duration              : 12 Months

 

Requirement:

·         5 years of Java development (including generics, annotations, collections, interfaces)

·         3 years of SOAP/REST web services development experience

·         3 years of direct experience with Java EE, Spring, or OSGI, and Agile practices.

·         Experience with either Maven or Gradle

·         Troubleshooting experience

·         Experience consuming/producing REST and SOAP services

·         Experience using relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQLServer, etc.) with a solid understanding of SQL

·         Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture

·         XML 

·         JSON

The most successful candidates will also have experience in the following:

·         Git + Gitflow

·         Experience developing web services with JAX-RS 

·         Experience developing and consuming web services with JAX-WS

·         Understanding of security concerns and mitigation strategies when developing public facing web services

·         JPA

·         Experience using WebSphere Application Server

·         Familiarity with client side web technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular

·         SiteMinder

·         Atlassian products – BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence and Bamboo
