Title – Business Analyst/ Consultant
Location : Troy/ Auburn Hills, MI
Duration – Full Time
I have a new role for Business Analyst/ Consultant for US Auto Regulatory Compliance
I am specifically looking for 10-15 year experience with Automobile (Car) recall management / NHTSA (National Highway transportation and safety authority) experience.
The Business analyst/consultant, will play the role of a domain/functional expert and will be the customer facing member of a global IT application development team. S/he will carry out business blueprinting exercises and support the development team to ensure realization of business objective.
The role will require domain expertise in the area(s) of:
• Automotive (Light duty vehicles) Recall Management (Investigation to NHTSA reporting, international market exposure would be welcome)
• Emission, Fuel economy and GHG related requirements for Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), California Air Resources Board (CARB) and National Highway Traffic Safety Association (NHTSA) - certification processes, rules interpretation and data requirements
• NHTSA TREAD Act related reporting requirements
Responsibilities:
• Understand and capture the detailed "As-is" business processes/sub-processes based on customer inputs
• Define the "To-be" state of business process and workflow as expected by customer (user and IT teams) along with thought leadership inputs, refinements and improvements which will help the customer to achieve objectives faster and in an efficient manner
• Secure buy-in from customer as well as our IT application development team
• Create use cases and test application as a business user, identify defects for rectification by development team
Qualifications:
• Bachelor / Master in Science or Engineering
• MBA would be a nice to have
