Job Summary:

• Candidate will work on the Business Intelligence Team to design and work on enterprise reporting.
• At a high level, this includes design of attributes and metrics, developing reports, collaborating with business analysts and data management teams, and ensuring optimized performance of the MicroStrategy environment.
• This individual will apply their analytical expertise to do the analysis, design, development, integration, and support of BI/DW solutions.
• The candidate will support existing users in the systems.

Responsibilities:

• Work with data management team to define data models for enhancements and new project
• Work functional and BI lead to implement BI solution for reporting
• Prioritize tasks and work closely with data management team on prioritization of bug fixes and enhancement projects
• Work closely with business users to define reporting requirements
• Assist in the communication and training for MicroStrategy
• Work with MicroStrategy developers to build attributes and metrics
• Work closely with business users to define requirements and design reports for functional needs
• Improve MicroStrategy environment in conjunction with technical teams by defining new attributes and metrics
• Collaborate with application teams and master data to execute robust and detailed BI solutions.
• Perform data validation and functional testing on reports delivered.
• Provide guidance on project delivery methodologies, defining success criteria, communication plans
• Assist in production support requests raised by the end users, reproduce the issue, determine the root cause, and then pass the issue to the appropriate team for resolution.
• Continuously improve BI processes and documentation standards.
• Provide routine and ad-hoc analysis and reporting support to business users, answer questions, leads user acceptance testing and feedback sessions, document enhancement requirement.
• Supporting the data discovery phase for each analytic project through discussions with business and information systems management, and identification of key/relevant business processes.
• Development of training materials and delivery of end-user training as needed

Experience Needed:    

• 5-7 years' experience in data warehouse analysis design, with knowledge of data warehouse methodologies.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and react to problems quickly.
• Must be able to translate concepts and directions into practical solutions.
• Has excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills to work with business partners.
• Ability to demonstrate a strong customer service focus.
• Retail or Ecommerce experience preferred.
• SAP knowledge preferred.
• Marketing experience preferred
• MicroStrategy experience is a must have
• Acute attention to detail with ability to multi-task and work in a flexible, team environment
• Advanced SQL coding skills
• Data modeling experience
