Position:: Java developer

Description
• Provide day to day support of the Back Office system, including 24/7/365 on call responsibilities.
• Analyze & troubleshoot issues found in testing and production.
• Documenting defects, creating/reviewing test cases, evaluate test results.
• Work closely with other departments (e.g. Mechanical) to identify problems, develop work around or repairs, track and resolve issues.
• Assist in the definition processes/strategies.
• Serve as technical expert for back office application.
• Monitor, respond and handle emails in the Team mailbox in accordance with SLA's.
• Pull and analyze logs of PTC and other onboard issues. Be able to perform initial log analysis.
• Push software to installed onboard systems and components.
• Follow established disaster recovery plan to work.
Must Have
• Minimum 7 to 8 years' experience in development, maintaining and supporting business critical systems & application.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in developing with Java
• Skilled in developing Python scripts
• Working knowledge of Putty, SFTP, and Telnet
• Ability to leverage SQL queries to obtain data from Oracle databases.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Ability to leverage SQL queries to obtain data from Oracle databases.
• Excellent analytical skills including process, design, data relationship and gap analysis.
