Job Description:
v Minimum 9+ years of overall experience
v on building reliable and scalable Spark based offering
v Willing to solve challenging problems at the core execution layer of the Spark engine
v Strong Java functional programming skills
v 3-4 years of solid system development experience leveraging a variety of the following technologies:
v Hadoop: HDFS, Hive, Spark, HBase, Impala
v Application Development: Java, Python, Scala
v Data-Layer Development: NoSQL, Relational
v Application Design: Model-View-Controller (MVC), Object Oriented, RESTful services / APIs
v Significant experience on MongoDB or any other NoSQL based development
v Strong analytical skills with a passion for testing
v Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
v Team collaboration maintaining exceptional code, architecture and documentation
v Detail oriented with a commitment to innovation
v History of open source contribution is a plus
