Role: Performance with  Mainframe Tester

Location: Wilmington, DE

Duration: 6-12 Month

 

Note: Client looking a candidate for performance tester who worked in a mainframe environment with Vuser/ Vugen and Loadrunner.

 

Job description:

 

  Analyze the communications, information, database, and programming requirements of the Large Scale systems. Understand test models and create test scenarios for the various middleware and Mainframe based applications.

  

  Undertake test and tuning of IBM Mainframe/Client Tandem based Authorization system for Credit Card.

  

  Plan, design and write LoadRunner Java Protocol VuGen scripts for performance testing

  

  Develop Automated Scripts to prepare data, setup and deploy configuration changes to testing infrastructure. Write scripts to automate reporting activity. Produce Final Performance Reports

  

  Candidate has to be strong in Client LoadRunner. Nice to have skill sets - strong understanding of Java, Java tuning, Performance Engineering

 

  Accountable for Change Management, Incident and Problem management reporting and analysis, creation and maintenance of Service Level Agreements, management communication, client relationship management with assigned application areas, and/or coordination of multiple staff involved in internal/external customer file transmission implementations. Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members as well as overall team management responsibilities. Functional knowledge of the application(s) supported and interdependencies. This individual may lead several teams that may cross project boundaries, but typically will be responsible for both deliverables and projects.
