Role : SCOM-system engineer
Location : Philadelphia, PA

JD :

Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure.

Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software.

Monitors the performance of systems.

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

 

Position Comments:     

The Senior System Center Operation Manager (SCOM) Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining the SCOM system application, monitoring all technology systems and applications within the Comcast eBusiness ecosystem.

The Senior SCOM Engineer will be responsible for collaborating with Platform Architects, Systems Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Application Developers, internal and external support teams, both onshore and offshore, to determine requirements for filters, events, alerts, and dashboards and reporting within SCOM
