Position               : .Net Architect

Location               : Harrisburg, PA

Duration              : 3+Months Will Extend

Rate                       : $60/hr on C2C

 

Job description

·         This resource will be managed by the Bureau of Information Technology and will be employed in the architecture deployment, development and support of application solutions utilizing Microsoft .NET and Microsoft MVC.

·         This resource will work closely with current permanent development staff to build new mission critical application solutions in Microsoft MVC, as well as support existing .NET and MVC applications. 

·         Additionally the resource will be tasked with updating mission critical legacy applications in Microsoft ASP and older versions of Microsoft.NET to utilize the Microsoft MVC platform. 

·         All implementations will be documented and training materials will be created, as needed to introduce any new functionality to DCNR Customers. 

·         This resource will also be expected to conduct training sessions with DCNR business units on all solutions produced during this requisition.

 

Required Skills

1.       Microsoft MVC.NET and ASP.NET Development And Architecture

2.       4 year college degree or equivalent technical study

3.       Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering

4.       Development of Training materials and documentation

5.       Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2
