Role Description:

1.       Working Experience with subject matter in diverse environments.

2.       Resource has worked with all basic components of the subject matter and can identify relevant standards, policies and practices.

3.       Individual has a strong understanding of the operational issues and considerations and can site examples of usage in different environments.

4.       Resource will gain technical expertise and make recommendations for solutions which may impact the overall outcome of the project/assignment.

5.       Resource has the ability to work with clients/users to identify and scope their requirements.

6.       This level should typically be used for a mid-level, fully proficient resource.

 

Role Summary:

 

Skills Required:

1.       Provides basic systems administration, operational support and problem resolution for UNIX based systems.

2.       Coordinates basic UNIX system administration and operational support (e.g., hardware/software installation, maintenance and support, security, storage management, backup/restore and disaster recovery).

3.       Assists in testing, operational support, monitoring, capacity planning, and troubleshooting across either individually or as a member of a support team to maintain system normalcy.

4.       Develops, communicates, and monitors the operational standards and procedures for the UNIX based systems.

5.       Acts as a technical resource to the IT staff and systems users.

 

Desired skills:

1.       JBoss EAP/EWS, JBoss Fuse, A-MQ, Tomcat, BizTalk
