§ Total experience – 12 to 14 years § Relevant experience in Data Center architecture technologies, design & implementation – 6 to 7 years § Relevant experience in implementing private cloud : 4 to 5 years § Cloud Architect will provide thought leadership to a cross-functional team to determine how to adopt cloud computing (private Cloud) in customer environment. § Will be responsible for leading exploratory projects in Cloud Computing that will be used to define and articulate technology deployment strategies. § Must have deep understanding of technologies like virtualization across compute, storage & networking domains, understanding of the evolving Cloud Computing market and competitive landscape, technology trends, and customer adoption trends and evolving technology needs. § Must have experience in defining service catalogues, provisioning workflows, subscription hierarchies, billing and charge back. § Must have good understanding of tools involved in enabling cloud life cycle management, infrastructure provisioning automation, and service request management. § Must have Strong understanding on Automation. § Must have good understanding of network, security, VPN aspects related to cloud. § Understanding of the Customer Strategy and Business Requirements § Experience translating Business Requirements into Technical Requirements § Experience developing High Level Design to meet Customer requirements § Excellent ability to handle vendors § Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings and reports at the local and senior business management level § Ability to perform independently consulting assessment reviews and assisting client organization with development, execution and testing of overall solution. § Interface with senior management to develop, refine, and execute the Cloud Computing strategy and roadmap. § Manage proof of concepts, exploratory projects to identify, evaluate and eventually adopt most suitable Cloud Computing model for the customer with respect to the customer's business context. § Work with other technical and data center architects for migration plans encompassing infrastructure baseline, plans and road maps; application migration plans, requirements and needs; industry leading and evolving trends, techniques, products and vendors § Work with technical leads from infrastructure domains like Compute, Storage, and Network etc. to develop a comprehensive technical architecture to support the multi-year agenda for cloud adoption. Architecture deliverable may also include development of integrated technology stacks designed for low cost efficient delivery of cloud services. § Should be able to plan and lead all aspects of Cloud Infrastructure projects such as Cloud Management solutions, provisioning, inventory management, CMDB, monitoring, security, backup. § Must lead Technical Architecture reviews in coordination with the Lead Solution Architects and various technical architects to determine if new products and solutions comply with the agreed architecture. |

Required Candidate Profile |
· Architecture, Design, and Implementation of highly scalable, highly available, Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) services and solutions. · Hands on in creating and deploying complex cloud infrastructure solutions in small and large environments. · Hands on experience in implementing private cloud solution using Orchestration and automation tools. · Hands on with some of the following public cloud: Amazon Web Services, Google Web Services, Azure, Terremark, Rackspace etc. · Hands on experience (4 to 5 years) with one or more of the following Hypervisors (e.g., VMware, Citrix Xen Server, KVM) · Data Center architecture & design experience for large customer environments. § Familiarity with networking & security solutions like routing, switching, Firewalls etc. § Willing to take on new challenges § Have a flair for customer interactions. Should be able to interact in CXO level in client's organization § Ready to travel across geographies as these are multi geography programs § Able to visualize customer pain areas, and provide innovative solutions to address these areas § Able to understand customer big picture and put multiple pieces of the required solution together through interactions with various experts § Possess excellent oral and written communication skills |
