Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Alexandria, Virginia
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
The Subcontractor will perform business analysis, and technical writing for client and server based applications in support of DMDC. Analyze business requirements for IT applications and products. Work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to: analyze business problems, conduct research studies, identity and translate business requirements into functional and system requirements, develop use cases to capture the ways that the system will be used, develop Concepts of Operations and Requirements Traceability Matrices, develop implementation strategies and maintain/update application control tables.
US Citizenship Required. Public Trust clearance.
Mid-level position with 3 - 5 years of experience
Bachelors Degree preferred (computer science, information systems, or business major
preferred)
Experience with Microsoft Office products and SharePoint
Experience with SQL
Technical writing skills to produce various documents required by the project
Ability to consistently apply quality and security standards, to work effectively in a team and with clients. Ability to also work independently and take ownership of process.
Knowledge of Agile software development using SCRUM, preferred, but not required
