Job Description:

We seeking an experienced Java Software Developer to join our growing team.

Responsibilities Include:

•             Conducts design and development of software, determination of interfaces, and technical feasibility analysis

•             Coordinates and performs requirements and implementation analysis, design, development, testing and enhancement of application software

•             Develops, modifying or configuring moderately complex software applications from detailed specifications

•             Experience working on most phases of applications programming activities, independent of supervisory guidance

•             Work in a collaborative environment to review current systems and present ideas for system improvements

 

Skills:

•             Minimum of five (5) years of applicable Software Engineering work experience

•             Understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in Software Engineering. General knowledge of other related disciplines

•             Experience with JEE, JBoss, JDeveloper, JSF, EJB, Hibernate, Prime Faces UI Framework

•             Experience with database implementations including Oracle and RDBMS Technologies

•             Experience with Web Services, SOA and Restful Web Services

Preferred Additional Skills:

•             Experience with Automated testing tools such as Selenium

•             Experience with Alfresco, Liferay and Portlets implementations

•             Experience with the full-stack of implementation of JEE 6 solutions

•             Experience with Virtualized / cloud-based environments on AWS

•             Experience with delivering public facing websites for US Government clients strongly desired

•             Good oral and written communications skills with experience in delivering/presenting to customer

•             Experience with SAFe or Agile Scrum processes

•             Other related experience with fielded systems and mission/system operations along with system sustainment for high system availability requirements

•             Experience with installing, configuring, tuning, and troubleshooting systems including developing and maintaining scripts for data manipulation and loading

•             Understanding of US Federal compliance requirements around Section 508 development

Education:

•             Associates' degree in a technical discipline
