Minimum Requirements:

1. Strong experience in data tier and relational Oracle Database development on Solaris/ Unix and Windows (local) environments – including schema design, ERDs, DB scripts, SQL queries, stored procedures, views, execution plans, replication,  tuning, query optimization etc. This must include requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment and integration with of multiple databases and applications, evaluation of existing database schemas, queries/views, enhancement, maintenance, and troubleshooting resulting in proper resolution.
2. Solid hands-on experience developing with Oracle, Golden Gate, some Sybase experience a bonus JDBC Hibernate and tools
3. Ability to deliver high quality code on time with proper adherence to development and testing standards for databases.
4. Ability to collaborating effectively and productively with developers and cross-functional teams such as Business Analysts, QA, Architecture, Infrastructure, DBAs, etc.
5. Proven ability to learn quickly, hit the ground running and work independently

 

Description:

Senior Oracle Database Developer

The individual in this role will be responsible for all aspects of an agile based SDLC, working on data tier development and enhancements to Client's highly strategic; mission critical & industry standard product, used by over 6500 global financial services institutions in 52 countries to manage post-trade settlement lifecycle in capital markets. As a senior member of the development team, primary responsibilities for this role include:

-       Design, analysis, coding, testing and documenting data tier software to satisfy business requirements.

-       Properly scope, design and ensure the timely delivery of high quality data tier software and technical solutions.
