Urgent Requirement : Sybase Admin : Washington DC

Position               : Sybase Admin

Level                     : L3

Duration              : 6 month C2H

Location               : Washington DC

 

Qualifications:

 

Years of experience:  5+ years of Sybase Database Design and administration experience, required

Computer skills: 5+ years of Unix scripting, Sybase, SQL Server or related RDBMS required   

 

Minimum qualifications:

·         Experience Sybase database and TranStats database design is very desirable.

·         Generate and analyze AWR and ADDM reports.

·         SQL query Performance tuning using explain plan, trace, tkprof etc.

·         Oracle database internal architecture knowledge.

·         PL/SQL performance tuning and expertise in reading trace and TKPROF output files.

·         Unix Shell scripting experience.

·         Familiar with 10g and 11g new features for performance tuning.

·         5+ years of experience in RAC and ASM.
