Need Oracle PL/SQL Developer for Jersey City, NJ (Financial exp) - ONLY LOCALS F2F

Title : Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Location : Jersey City, NJ

 

No OPT's. Need only local candidates who can go for F2F. Candidates from NJ/NYC/PA/CT will be considered.

 

Domain : Investment Banking / Asset Wealth Management / OTC Derivatives / Collateral

 

Scope of the project involves Oracle support services for onboarding the clients. Project is executed in a global delivery model

including business center in NY, offshore team and other stakeholders located globally.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide design recommendations for database creation and expansion meeting the usability, scalability, and performance requirements.

• Expert in performance tuning of the queries, review and provide recommendations to the application developers.

• Developing complex Stored Procedures and creating views

• Prepares comprehensive documentation, and ensures timely completion of assigned work

• Integrate with many upstream and downstream systems

• Guide the ETL team and review the informatica data load programs to ensure the data quality and provide proper checks and balances with upstream and

downstream systems

• Strong data analysis skills and ensure regulatory requirements are met

• Work with functional staff to establish and clarify requirements

• Prepares comprehensive documentation, and ensures timely completion of assigned work

 

Required Skills:

• 7+ years' of experience in Relational database concepts, relational logical modeling, best practices, and physical design

• 5+ years' experience on Oracle database and related technologies

• Robust Knowledge and implementation experience of ETL tools including Informatica

• Strong Database engineering skills and expertise on PL-SQL

• Familiarity with Database Administration, not required to be DBA

• Integrate with dispersed global team and deliver the work on time.

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work in agile environment

• Ability to handle teams working in multiple sites (onsite, offshore, near shore)
