Senior SQL Server DBA

San Diego CA

Contract

 

Looking for a seasoned SQL Server Database Professional with hands-on experience with Sql Server Upgrades and migrations from Sql Server 2000/2005/2008 to Sql Server 2012/2014.

Skills Required:

-          Demonstrated experience with SQL Server 2012 upgrade and migration tasks; including Database, Integrated Services (SSIS) and Reporting Services (SSRS)

-          Proven experience in Disaster Recovery environments; including Always On technology and Database Storage Replication

-          Hands-on  experience deploying, configuring and administering Windows Clustering

-          Extensive  SQL Server administration (optimization/installation/configuration)

-          Experience with log shipping, clustering, capacity planning and SQL Server replication

-          Preferred - Solid Programming and scripting skills preferably in .NET and/or Powershell
