lab rebuilds, troubleshooting, hardware and installs: Someone that knows networking, cabling, installations, and upgrading. The ability to troubleshoot problem systems, load configuration, update VM's using existing scripts. Ability to apply and evaluate new firmware code provided by our vendors, hardware installation and evaluations. Basic to advanced Microsoft office skills. The basic ability to document and update existing documents as things change. The basic understanding of firewall, and how to work with testers to ensure the rules and network requests work. Basic understanding of IBM/Toshiba products, and how to use AMM's for troubleshooting, the willingness to learn and adapt to new situations. The ability to work on their own or with minimal supervision. The willingness to travel to all remote labs except India for assistance in testing and setups.
