Title: ETL Teradata Developer
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6-12 months
Skills needed: Teradata ETL, Talend, Data Warehousing Best Practices, MS SQL, Flat Files, Stored Procedures
Description: Culturally and contractor-friendly client is undertaking a large-scale and developing Data Warehouse effort. Our client needs a solid ETL and Admin expert for a medium to long-term assignment. This is on-site in Houston. A face to face or Skype is required after an initial phone call.
The ideal candidate will contribute the following skill sets:
* Must have sound Teradata experience. Experience should include mastery of Teradata's scripting language.
* Strongly desire expertise with Talend
* Data Warehousing ETL
* Not a "tool jockey"
* Understanding best practices as it comes to Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL)
* Team Player
* Driven to succeed
* Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
* Good communication skills
