Position: Oracle NMS Business Architect

Location: Marlborough, MA

Duration: Contract for 1 year

Salary: Open (can include base + travel expenses)

Oracle NMS Business Architect

In the role, the Business Architect will work to refine and clarify business requirements, facilitate process definition and act as a consultant/liaison between the business (operations) and the technical team.

The key focus from a business transformation perspective surround switching and restoration projection and communication.

 

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Serve as the Business Architect for the Oracle NMS outage management application

Assist with the design and oversight of development of system interfaces, and configuration of the OMS system

Assisting and advising of the large scale technical build, test, and deploy activities

Articulating application and integration strategy and thought leadership for business solutions Skills,

 

Experience & Education Requirements:

10+ years utility industry experience

Business Architecture/Analysis experience gathering requirements, facilitation, process definition

Outage & Restoration Process expertise

Experience with Operations Technology (OMS/DMS/SCADA) Switching experience

Familiarity with best practices for calculating ETRs

Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

 

Desired Experience:

Experienced with implementing Oracle NMS

Focal Point experience

Operations background

 

Domain Expertise Requirements:

Electric Utility Experience

 

Client Specific Requirements:

Onsite Monday through Thursday
