Title: SharePoint Lead

Location: Hartford, CT
Duration: 6 months

 

Job Description:  

·         Apply technical knowledge of SharePoint to provide recommendations for improvement, defining any development tasks required

·         Co-ordinate and own development projects, implementations and warranty

·         Requirements gathering, analysis and recommendations

·         Co-ordinate User Acceptance Testing

·         Manage incidents, including the process, working with Service management to recover systems and identify root cause

·         Provide second level support to SharePoint end users, working with the SharePoint Developer and/or third party support teams as required

·         Work collaboratively and closely with third parties to establish and maintain working practices and processes, putting end users at the hart of what we do

·         Continually research the effectiveness of the platform and make recommendations for improvement

·         Own, implement and maintain governance and acceptable use policies

·         Carry out regular audits utilizing reporting facilities and site owners in the business, ensuring all operations are within governance

·         Participate in sharing of good practice and knowledge throughout the team

·         Ability to understand and translate end user needs into a business requirements specification document

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

·         Good problem determination and problem solving skills

·         Ability to make effective decisions in a high risk environment

·         Team player with ability to work and deliver within a team environment as well as ability to work alone
