Position: SAP Basis Admin
Location: Dallas, TX (Locals ONLY)
Duration: 9+ Months
Rate: $60/hr (Flexible) AND GC/EAD/CITIZEN STRONGLY PREFFERED
Qualifications:
* The successful candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
* Also required is at least 5-year experience with SAP BASIS Administration, with involvement in at least 2 full cycle SAP implementations.
Requirements:
* Installation and Configuration of at least 3 distributed SAP systems (ECC, NWGW, CRM, PI, EP, GRC)
* Responsible for database and software administration, installations, performance, security, sizing, support for large SAP installations, running on the combination of the following:
UNIX operating systems (HP UX, AIX, Solaris, Linux)
Windows operating systems
* Database Administration
Oracle 10.x/11.x database administration activities including BR Tools Management
Implementation of High Availability (Fail-over) Solution
Backup and Recovery administration procedures for SAP systems to 3rd party Backup utilities.
MS SQL and Oracle performance tuning
* Implementation of Industry Solution (DIMP,IS-U, IS-O)
* Enhancement Packages implementation
* Transport Management System
* Kernel Upgrades and Kernel Patch management (WAS 6.4/7.x)
* Support Package upgrade management
* Client Administration activities
* System Profile Parameter configuration
* SLD Best Practice setup
* JSPM for Java Patch Management
* Webdispatcher setup for external and internal use
* Solution Managers Maintenance Optimizer
* Java Stack Management and performance tuning
* NWDI, Visual Composer, or NWA experience
* ADS setup and configuration
* Printer setup and Management (Front end and Back end)
* Administration of Background Job Scheduling
* System Monitoring (Logs, traces, locks, users, processes)
* Performance tuning skills (Work Load Analysis).
* Central User Administration
* Security and Authorization using Profile Generator. Translate roles/privileges defined through business requirements into technical specification and implementation within R/3. Design and document procedures for role and user administration.Comply with Segregation of Duties (SOX)
* SAPRouter (SNC/VPN) management
* Liaise effectively with SAP Support for issue resolution
* Disaster Recovery management, including planning and execution
* Ability to manage relation with customer to facilitate positive work environment
* Ability to manage project time line and deliverables
