Role:               Middleware support –Tomcat Server

Duration         6 Months       

Location         Nashville TN

Job Description:

Resources to provide ( 24 x 5 ) Support for Middleware tools to cover Tool Standardization, Automation/Scripting, Integration with Subversion / Artifactory ( Nexus ), Deployment and ongoing Support ( of Tools, Build-lifecycle, and Troubleshooting ).

Focus on Middleware Products : Java, Apache WebSvr, Tomcat AppSvr, Websphere ( IHS/AS ), Subversion, Artifactory/Nexus, Jenkins

Description / Responsibilities

Junior to mid-level developer with 3-5 years working with Java, DevOps, Websphere IHS/App Svr, Apache/Tomcat Web/App Svr and scripting, providing core engineering function for Developer community to define, build, deploy, utilize and support all Web-App tier middleware / App delivery functions and ensure tools and platforms are engineered, deployable and supportable.

Focus shall be on Web-App Middleware tooling, Middleware Installation and Application pre-configuration standards definition and App Configuration deployment, Tuning and Optimization and ongoing Maintenance of tools and automation platforms.

 

Requirements

·         3+ years of experience developing in Java, leveraging a variety of java integration / scripting tools

·         3+ years of  experience engineering, building and supporting Apache/Tomcat

·         2 years of experience supporting Websphere IHS/App Svr

·         Strong scripting abilities on Linux shells

·         Working knowledge of DevOps, Subversion, Jenkins, Artifactory (Nexus )

·         Familiarity with monitoring tools such as NetCool  & Wily Introscope.
