Position: Program Manger

Location:New York City, NY

Duration:6 months

Years of exp:10+ years experience required

Interview:Phone & F2F is must (locals only)

Preferred consultants from: NYC, Boros, North New Jersey, and Southern Conn. 

 

Specific duties include:

•             Organizational Governance:

o             Establish and maintain the portfolio/program/project structure that aligns our delivery with our organizational goals

o             Optimize stakeholder engagement to facilitate effective program control

o             Participate in definition of organizational controls, standards and toolkit; plan and execute rollout across Operations Technology

o             Manage compliance across all processes

•             Project Lifecycle Control:

o             Monitor and facilitate execution of lifecycle control procedures by delivery managers (DMs), ensuring that delivery status is tracked and communicated and issues managed to resolution

o             Develop Operations Technology’s delivery management capability through mentoring and training of DMs and providing performance feedback

o             Manage process evolution across all activities

o             Evaluate and enforce process adherence and data quality

•             Resource Management:

•             Financial Management

•             Risk Management:

o             Provide a rigorous process for review and management of significant delivery risks

o             Ensure all material risks and issues at all levels across the group have documented management actions and are tracked to resolution, with full visibility at the appropriate level

•             Stakeholder Management

•             Benefits Realization

 

Must have:                           

•                   Familiarity with software development lifecycle; able to describe at least one standard development methodology

•                       Working knowledge of iterative/agile methodologies

•                       Excel knowledge

•                       Microsoft Project

•                       Agile mythology

•                       Sharepoint design

•                       Pivot table Knowledge

•                       Familiarity with workforce management, communication/engagement planning

·                Must have experience in PM with IB and Portfolio Governance
