Sql Server Developer needed at Overland Park,KS

POSITION1

 

Title       :               Senior Developer / Architect , Location :               Overland Park, KS , Duration : Contract

 

Required Skill:

 

·         Requirements gathering, analysis, programming, problem resolution, technical and system support production support in multi-tier and multi-user network environments.

·          Implement Business Intelligence environment which includes architectural design, development, testing of Data warehouses and BI Reports.

·         Extensive use of SQL Server databases, SSIS, SSAS, TSQL scripting(for stored procs, and database development).

·         Business analysis, ETL and report development using Analysis Services OLAP.

·         Multi Dimensional cube design, development in SSAS. Write complex scripts in MDX to generate the result data sets from the OLAP cubes, for report rendering in web applications. Experience in using XML.

·         Proficient to work with multiple data source environments including Netezza and SQL scripting.

 

POSITION 2

 

Position: Application Development Technical Lead- MS SQL server - Business Intelligence, Kansas City, MO ,  12 months contract.

 

REQUIRES:

 

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or credential equivalency. Additional years of qualifying work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

·         5 years professional development with SQL Server that include:  2 years SSIS and 1 year SSRS experience

·         Experience transitioning from one technical development discipline to another

·         Transition from IBM mainframe development experience to Microsoft SQL is preferred

 

RESPONSIBILITES:

 

·         Analyzes and implements application development solutions to meet business needs using SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS and third party applications

·         Assists in training and transitioning an application development staff from mainframe development to Microsoft SQL server
