Position: Database ETL Specialist (Extract, Transform, Load)

 

Location:  Wilmington, DE

Duration: 1 Year

 

Candidate must have a B.S in Computer Science or related and minimum of 5 years of experience in Designing and building ETL process using a variety of tools.

 

Responsibilities

·             To analyse the systems, Data Map between them

·             Design the ETL Mechanism using C#

·             Work with .Net developers in building the ETL process to move data between 2 large different financial Payment systems (Oracle to SQL)

·             Migrating between 2 different systems

·             Strong written and oral communication skills

 

Required Technical Skills

 

Extensive database experience in the following area of expertise:

·          proven experience handling complex data migrations

·          reverse engineering data models and relational databases

·          extensive data mapping and transformation logic experience

·          extensive ETL process creation experience

·          data modeling and architecting

·          Oracle 10g, 11g

·          MS SQL 2008+

 

Additional Skills

·          Visual Studio 2008/2010

·          C# and Object Oriented Design and Development experience

·          Understanding of web services and WCF
