A guide for NGOs working on HIV prevention projects

This NGO Communications Guide is designed to give those working in civil society organisations practical knowledge and tools to help them better tell the story of the work that they do, and also to develop an organisational communications plan. It was written for those with little training or background in organisational communications, and so was designed to be useful for those who now may, in the course of their work, be tasked with building awareness of the work of their organisation among many different audiences.

The NGO Communications Guide will enable readers to: set their organisation's communications goals and objectives; develop strategies and tactics to meet those objectives; define their target audiences and the communications channels to reach those audiences; draft key messages; and develop a calendar and budget for implementing the plan.
