Job Description:

The Java Developer will be responsible for developing code and maintaining applications associated with a number of internal products managed and implemented by our customer.  The ideal candidate for will come with a strong background in Java development and general programming experience. This position will work in conjunction with other Java Developers and Architects to build web services to support the interaction between custom applications and front end systems. The candidate must be capable of working quickly, collaboratively and professionally.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

·         Design, create and maintain Java-driven applications

·         Collaborate with business stakeholders and architects to design and code solutions

·         Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents

·         Create, document and implement unit test plans and scripts

·         Perform peer code reviews

·         Additional, related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

·         3-5 years of Java Development experience

·         Possess full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience

·         Possess Health Information Exchange (HIE) and general Healthcare industry experience. HL7 experience is a plus

·         Passion for working collaboratively to deliver world-class client solutions

·         Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
