Position:  STORAGE HP(EVA) L-3

Duration: 6 months

Location: Jacksonville, FL

 

 

 

Job Description

 

Must Have: 

·         Minimum 5-8 Years relevant working knowledge of Enterprise-class Storage on HP XP and HP EVA

·         Working knowledge of Enterprise-class Fiber Switch/Director Hardware from Cisco and Brocade required

·         Good Exposure on Monitoring and Replication Strategies (Business Copy, Continuous Access)

·         Strong Storage concepts on LUN mapping/creation, F/C Switch Configuration and Zoning

 

Required Skills

Essential  - 

• 4-5years Windows and/ or  UNIX administration,  
• HP XP12000, XP24000 SAN Administration, Management and Configuration 
• Understanding of Raid Layout on HP XP and EVA
• Vast knowledge on HP Performance Advisor
• Knowledge of HP Storage Essential. It should also include Storage reporting and Capacity planning.
• HP EVA SAN Administration, Management and Configuration
• Knowledge of Command View XP and Commandview EVA management software
• Working knowledge on Business Copy and Sanpclones on HP XP
• Woking knowledge on Business Copy and Mirrorclones on HP EVA 
• LUN masking and Chip port assignment on HP XP
• LUN masking on HP EVA
• SAN Switch Management 
• VSAN/LSAN configuration
• Firmware upgrade
• Installation and configuration
• Zoning
