Job Title :- Electrical Product Engineer

Location :- San Jose, CA

Duration :- 1 year Plus contract

 

Job Description:

1              Perform new product and sustaining engineering.

2              Accountable for DFM contribute to DFC,DFQ,DFR,DFSC and DFT

3              Value Engineering:

NPI - Cost Avoidance through component selection, process efficiency and design changes

Sustaining – Identify cost reduction opportunities and drive the feasibility discussion

4              Design tool proficiency (DFx, schematic, CAD, other CAE tools)

5              Design lab experimentation / debug (proficiency continuum) /DOE /EFA

6              Technical lifecycle management (defect reduction team participation, new component qualification, etc)

7              Assessing CM/JDM/ODM and supply chain technical capability gaps

8              Knowledge and application of industry innovations / trends to product or program

9              Creating, analyzing, and releasing product documentation.

10           Leadership and direction of complex issue resolution.

11           SME in product DFM and technical knowledge recognized across multiple EPE groups.
