Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 12 Month
1. Minimum of eight (8) years' experience designing/developing large scale application systems in a multi-tiered environment, at least four (4) years of which must be working in JEE Application Servers.
ASSOCIATED SKILL SETS: The additional skill sets listed below will be considered in determining the best candidate for the position:
1. Hands on experience with IBM IDE: Rational Application Developer (RAD) and/or Rational Software Architect (RSA).
2. Hands on IBM Portal (6.1 or above preferred) server experience.
3. Hands on experience with JSF based UI development.
4. Hands on experience with Object Relational mapping tools like Hibernate or JPA/OpenJPA.
5. Experience in developing J2EE applications for IBM Websphere Application Server (6.1 or above preferred).
6. Experience with developing web services using JAX-WS for WAS (6.1 or above preferred).
7. Experience with XML, XSL and XML Schemas.
8. Strong interpersonal skills including oral and written communication, innovation, problem solving and collaboration.

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience defining Logical and Physical data models for OLTP systems
2. Minimum of five (5) years' experience designing data warehouse schemas - - e.g., star and snow-flake.
3. Strong Knowledge of database design to achieve integration of different data structure from multiple sources.
ASSOCIATED SKILL SETS
The additional skill sets listed below will be considered in determining the best candidate for the position.
1. Minimum of five (5) years' experience with MS SQL Server (MS Certification a plus)
2. Minimum of eight (8) years' experience with Oracle (OCP certifications a plus)
3. Experience with XML
4. Demonstrated understanding of Data Administration principles and development of corresponding standards.
5. Knowledge of ETL practices and ETL Tools
6. Experience in object relational mapping and UML modeling
7. Understanding of J2EE and EJBs
8. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a larger team.
