Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Duration: 3 to 6 months
Start: This Monday
Primary Responsibilities
• Writing and managing concise and effective User Stories
• Define precise and accurate User Story acceptance criteria that will be used by developers, functional testers and product owners to insure that product owner's intent is effectively captured and delivered
• Gather requirements for IT development projects by conducting interviews, work flow analysis, process analysis, and observation sessions
• Evaluate information from multiple sources and help distinguish user requests from user needs
• Interface with all levels of internal clients and analyzing current business processes • Facilitate and clarify customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements
• Arrange client reviews of software under development, ensuring client satisfaction
• Foster Agile principles and methods for requirement gathering
• Mentor other business analysts within the organization and proactively support the evolution and adoption of consistent business/systems analysis activities, processes and deliverables
• Participate in and support functional and user acceptance testing activities and team members; experience or aptitude to learn automated testing tools a plus

Qualifications
• 4+ years of combination of Business and Systems Analysis experience with a strong emphasis around new software development
• 3+ years of experience in a digital publishing and/or online media industry is highly desired • Solid and demonstrable understanding of XML, data processing and business processes analysis
• Proven skill and effectiveness in requirements gathering and definition, data analysis, process analysis, business and functional requirements analysis, test planning and execution and change management
• Skill and experience working with traditional use case based analysis of business processes
• Experience performing end-user interviews, leading requirements gathering sessions, and leading User Acceptance Testing
• Must have exceptional soft skills, strong relationship building skills with the ability to relate constructively to all levels of the organization and the ability to speak to both technical and business concerns
• Ability to mentor and coach other business analysts and team members on business and systems analysis processes and deliverables
• Bachelors Degree Required
