A group company within our client currently seeks a "ETL Developer & Application Support" resource to join our team in "San Leandro".
Qualifications:
Job Description
Maintain and own bug management and incident resolution process.
Responsible for resolving bugs within defined service levels.
Manage and own application Bugs and incident life cycle, and drive those to permanent resolutions, implement preventive measures to avoid repetitive issues
Debug, troubleshoot, root cause analysis and resolve issues within SLA. Continues follow up on permanent solutions to bugs.
Resolve complex bugs with long term fixes following BI best practices.
Collaborate with BI team for solution review of complex bugs and incident resolution
Follow up with third party vendors for issue resolution and prevention
Provide higher management and business verticals with timely update on system health and key priority issues
Perform weekly incident/bug review meetings with application team.
Responsible for 24 x 7 production system support, including off hours and weekend 'on call' production support responsibilities
Daily spot check of system health.
Manage and own application release process
Responsible for supporting continues release of BI deliverables to production, perform on demand meetings with BI team for supporting issues encounter due to production changes with minimal help from BI team
Follow BI change control and continues integration process for changes to production system, Own all changes made to production system
Responsible for continues system improvements to help reduce tech debt costs
Act as a backup for development engineer for events like attrition, vacations and unforeseen leaves taken by BI engineers.
Business Impact
Provide timely and continues update to business stakeholders for business impacting issues
Perform custom, ad-hoc data analysis and reporting based on stakeholders requests within SLA
Support weekly and monthly customer report processing
Team Collaboration & Communication
Candidates should possess excellent oral/written communication skills
Actively participate in team meetings and technical discussions.
Responsible for self-time management and effective problems solving skills.
Conduct regular presentations to team/stakeholders
Responsible for providing timely status report to management team.
