Skills Required and Job Description:
Job Description· - Lead/Contribute to determining metrics and KPIs relating to development, infrastructure and site performance for large global payment platform environments·
- Lead/Conduct routine root-cause analysis for large global payment platform environments·
- Work independently to analyze various measurements to identify front- tier performance improvement opportunities with Site Catalyst, tealeaf, normalization of log data, web page beacon technology and outside vendors like Keynote and Gomez·
- Lead/Conduct analysis of the backend services and applications performance for large global payment platform environments·
- Lead/Conduct seasonal peak capacity planning for various application stacks to maintain high availability.·
- Train team members/Develop reports and dashboards for front-tier performance metrics·
- Lead/Develop latency reports for data center metrics using Perl and Tableau for management to make critical decisions for improving performance.·
- Lead/Collaborate with cross functional teams for identifying areas of performance improvements·
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Engineering) or equivalent field experience·
Required: - 5-7 years professional experience in an analytical role·
- Proficiency with database, spreadsheet, and statistical tools (Oracle, Teradata, MySQL)·
- Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to query, join, and transform data in a relational database·
- Experience with Hadoop and python or R is preferred.·
- Experience with analyzing the services and applications for large global payment platform environments·
- Ability to solve problems analytically and create actionable recommendations through the analysis of application level and user experience data·
- Ability to use reporting tools like tableau, excel to share analysis·
- Ability to plan, organize, and work on large performance program efforts·
- Progressive thinker capable of extending or enhancing the existing set of analytical offerings·
- Excellent communication and presentation skills·
- Experience in e-commerce or digital marketing a plus·
- Demonstrated experience in a large complex developmental environment·
- Demonstrated experience in a large complex live-site infrastructure environment
