Title                       : Flex Developer
Location               : Jersey City, NJ
Duration              : 6+ months

Interview            : Telephonic Followed by Face2Face 

 

Job Description:

The Flex Developer will report to the Project Manager for day-to-day activities. This candidate will be working on an insurance (commercial) industry project. All candidates must have the following qualifications:

Project Requirements:

1.       Flex

2.       FlashBuilder

Basic Requirements:

1.       Unit Testing:

§  FlexUnit

2.       Experience with Peer reviews

3.       Familiarity Agile [Scrum and XP Engineering Practices]

4.       Familiarity with Continuous Integration

5.       Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD)

6.       Good communication skills

7.       Ability to collaborate in a team

8.       Someone who takes initiative instead of waiting for work to be assigned.

9.       Someone who participates in discussions and who isn't afraid to have and state opinions.

Nice to have:

1.       Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010

2.       Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0

3.       Common Language Runtime

4.       ADO.NET

5.       ASP.NET

6.       LINQ

7.       Unit Testing:

§  MSTest, NUnit

§  Mocking Framework (i.e.: MOQ)

8.       Familiarity with the Commercial Property and Casualty Industry is a plus
