Developer / Development Skills

•  Experienced in the in the Netezza product implemented in a UNIX environment

• ·         Data Modeling experience and knowledge of query planning

• ·         Knowledge of ETL tools (such as Ab Initio), Data Mapping, Transformation and Loading in an extremely complex environment processing large volumes of data

• ·         Capable of designing and supporting solutions employing the Netezza product

• ·         Skilled in maximizing the high performance capabilities and execution of processes provided by Netezza

• ·         Experienced in supporting a data warehousing environment

• ·         Excellent UNIX, Perl and KORN shell scripting skills

• ·         Strong knowledge and experience supporting solutions on an Oracle platform

• ·         Strong SQL skills

• ·         Experience processing sensitive data including HIPAA

• ·         Experiences with Windows, UNIX and Linux

 

Critical Qualifications

 

• ·         Senior level experience with Netezza design and configuration

• ·         Senior level experience with Data Warehousing implementation

 

Additional Qualifications

• ·         Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential

• ·         Detail oriented, Strong analytical, Critical thinking and problem solving skills

• ·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industry Standard Certifications or equivalent experience.

• ·         Senior level years experience in systems development and related fields

• ·         Strong application development background with the ability to quickly comprehend complex system flows

• ·         Ability to prioritize and perform independently

• ·         Ability to function in a team environment and communicate effectively within the group
