Location: Secaucus, New Jersey
Minimum Requirements:

Requirements / Skills / Qualifications:

Working knowledge of SAP's ECC functionality & configuration in the following areas:

• SAP Retail / AFS - Industry Solutions (Highly Desirable)
• Materials Management (Required)
• Procure to Pay (Required)
• Sales & Distribution (Desirable)
• Pricing / POS (Desirable)
• BW / Business Objects (Highly Desirable)
• Financials (Desirable)

Other

• JDA Arthur  / Merchandise Planning (Desirable)
• Just Enough Demand Planning & Allocations (Desirable)

Business Skills / Experience Requirements:

• BS/BA in a business related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of business experience
• Minimum of 8 years working with SAP in a functional / analytical role
• Minimum of 3 years managing functional team
• Retail / Apparel & footwear experience highly desirable 

General:

• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Must be capable of effective communication with business partners and other members of the IT team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Capacity to mentor peers and contractors, providing expert technical direction and advice on analysis approach
• Experience in coordinating support and project activities in a fast paced matrix environment.
• Ability to identify, champion and manage improvements to current processes (best practices)
• Strong project / time management skills
• Supervisory experience

Description:

The Director, Business Analysis - serves as a team lead in planning, testing, and configuration of applications supporting both Consumer Direct & Wholesale Channels. The individual will interface with business partners to provide direct support and ensure business processes are appropriately supported by core systems. The Director, Business Analysis will liaise with the development and technology teams in support of the above responsibilities. Application focus for this role will be SAP, with further responsibilities in other business systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with business partners & technology teams to support core business applications:

• Maintain a strong partnership with business owners to understand detailed requirements & business processes.
• Collaborate with technology teams supporting SAP solutions utilized to execute key business activities.    
• Provide first level SAP support and expertise for Business Channels.
• Continuous applications support, including ongoing maintenance and system upgrades.

Business process analysis:

• Work with systems analysts and business partners in analyzing and resolving production issues.

• Perform analytical activities of current / proposed processes, supporting the delivery of CBI's

(Continuous Business Improvements)

• Writing functional specifications and providing leadership / coordination in the design of reports, forms, interfaces, custom programs and conversions.

Business systems software configuration:

• Responsible for applications configuration & mentoring team members responsible for configuration.

Application Testing:

• Development / Coordination of key test plans including unit testing, system integration / regression testing and user acceptance testing for system changes affected through configuration and / or development.

Documentation:

• Develop / Coordinate the delivery of documentation in accordance with change management policies.
• Assisting in identification of business processes and system tasks to be documented in the form of Business Process & Procedures (BPPs) / Work instructions.

General:

• Provide leadership and direction to Business Analysts on process analysis, testing and integration, and system configuration activities.
• Other Duties as assigned
