Tittle: Network Security Engineer (Firewall and VPN Administration of Cisco ASA)

Location: Miramar, FL

Work Authorization: GC / Citizen

 

Required skills/competencies:

Advance level of knowledge of Cisco ASA firewall management and networking. Must understand LAN and WAN technology concepts and be able to work with networking teams in troubleshooting incidents.

Application security experience dealing with web security and proxies, Symantec AV, vulnerability assessments and remediation, NAC, DLP and Intrusion Prevention Systems. Understanding of client VPN, specifically Cisco AnyConnect. Experience in both operating and setting up each of these systems is preferred.

Experience in a dynamic multi-site environment, preferably a global organization. Flexible to after hours support when needed and international travel. Experience in working with project management in engineering new systems and providing security feedback and best practices. Learn and apply corporate security policies and standards to project assessments. Must be able to provide detailed documentation and diagrams of system implementations. Problem solving and troubleshooting skills together with a drive to tackle difficult and challenging technical issues are a must.
