Position: Firmware /Software Engineers (6 openings) - eMMC

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 6 Months 

Interview Type: Phone only

Skill Type: 7 Years

 

Job Description:

ü  BS in either Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; MS is preferred

ü  Perform system integration, validation and debugging of FPGA and SoC design

ü  Develop new test software and utility tools to validate SSDs compatibility and reliability for target applications

ü  Develop eMMC firmware for NAND FLASH storage controller on ARM9 architecture

ü  Analyzed controller performance and implement optimizations

ü  Transfer operations with NAND operations, and combining buffers for DMA transfers

ü  Operations and gaining better utilization of NAND channels

ü  Analyzed firmware bottleneck using logic analyzers and GPIO pins
