Location: San Jose, CA

Job Description:

• Strong C++ skills are required with demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems. 
  
• Experience working with XML/XSL frameworks are required.
• Working knowledge of SQL. Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS performance tuning and query optimization or other will be a plus.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science is required and MSCS preferred.
• 6+ yrs of software development experience in C++ and some Java is good to have
• Experience building high volume, consumer facing, web applications.
• Preferred experience developing secure transactional software products.
• Working closely with Product Management, to identify product requirements, design solutions.
  

• Driving high-level and detailed technical design documents, and active participation in design reviews.
• Providing technical guidance and assistance to other software engineers.
• Implementation of new features using C++ and SQL in an Apache/Linux environment.
• Maintenance and enhancement of existing features.
• Employ technical expertise in helping team members overcome technical problems.
• Participate and become actively involved in team and companywide architecture discussions Adhere to release/project schedule and milestones.
• The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of relevant web protocols.
• Commitment to highly available and platform independent software is required.
