Strong C++ developer (Unix/Apache/Linux environment)

Job Description:
- Strong C++ skills are required with demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems.
- Experience working with XML/XSL frameworks are required.
- Working knowledge of SQL. Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS performance tuning and query optimization or other will be a plus.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science is required and MSCS preferred.
- 6+ yrs of software development experience in C++ and some Java is good to have
- Experience building high volume, consumer facing, web applications.
- Preferred experience developing secure transactional software products.
- Working closely with Product Management, to identify product requirements, design solutions.
- Driving high-level and detailed technical design documents, and active participation in design reviews.
- Providing technical guidance and assistance to other software engineers.
- Implementation of new features using C++ and SQL in an Apache/Linux environment.
- Maintenance and enhancement of existing features.
- Employ technical expertise in helping team members overcome technical problems.
- Participate and become actively involved in team and companywide architecture discussions Adhere to release/project schedule and milestones.
- The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of relevant web protocols.
- Commitment to highly available and platform independent software is required.
